Tickets now available!

Online ticket sales for the 2022 Latvian Song and Dance Festival in St. Paul, Minnesota, began on November 18, 2021.

Tickets are available for purchase here on our website, and will be distributed by email with a unique, personal QR code for each event. 

Only a limited number of tickets to certain events will be available for purchase during the festival at a higher price - do not delay in purchasing tickets!

 

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • The ticket ordering program seems to be stuck and/or loading very slowly. Is there anything I can do?

 

Please try opening the website in a different web browser (Firefox vs. Chrome, Safari, etc), or, if you are on a cell phone, please try ordering with a computer. If the problem persists, please communicate (in English) with our ticketing platform's technical representative via email.   You may also contact the Song Festival ticketing committee (in Latvian or English) via the contact form on our website.  We will try to help!

  • I ordered tickets but can't find my email with the QR codes. What should I do?

  • What’s the difference between a QR code “ticket” and a QR code “voucher”?

 

After you use the online ticket ordering system, you will receive emailed QR codes for each purchased ticket. For every event, the QR code will either be the actual ticket or marked as a voucher. The QR code vouchers will be clearly labeled as such. Even though admission for all events can be purchased through this online platform, some of the venues require that we distribute physical tickets. In this case, upon arrival at the Festival and prior to the event, any QR code labeled “voucher” must be redeemed and exchanged for a physical ticket at the Song & Dance Festival Ticket Desk in the InterContinental Hotel. QR code vouchers must be exchanged for paper tickets for the following events: The Chamber and Symphonic Music Concert, the Guest Choir’s Concert, the New Choreography Showcase, the Grand Folk Dance Performance, the Rock Concert, and the Grand Choir Concert.

 

  • How do QR code tickets work?

For the events that do not need paper tickets, you will simply show the emailed QR code (either on your smartphone or printed) at the door of each venue. Each QR code will be scanned and allow single entry, much like tearing a physical ticket stub. This digital system minimizes the hassle of managing multiple printed tickets, while also helping the environment!

  • Why is there a Service Fee?

A small percentage fee is added to each ticket purchase in order to cover the costs of using the online ticket ordering system. The XV Latvian Song and Dance Festival Organizing Committee elected to use digital tickets for this festival in order to minimize costs and reduce environmental waste from printed tickets.

 

  • What’s the difference between “Free” admission and “No ticket required”?

“Free” means that admission is $0, but an online ticket reservation is required. “No ticket required” means that admission is free and no reservation is required.

 

  • I have mobility issues - will there be seating that can accommodate my needs?

All of the event venues are ADA compliant and - depending on the venue - are equipped with elevators, ramps, and/or special seating areas for mobility impaired persons.  Anyone with special seating needs or who may need additional assistance should contact us via our email address and/or our website contact form so we can notify ushers of these needs. 

  • Do I need to purchase a ticket for my infant/toddler younger than two years old?

In most venues children under the age of 2 do not require a ticket if they sit on the lap of an accompanying adult.

PLEASE NOTE: Free lap passes for children under 2 years of age are required for the following concerts: Chamber and Symphonic Music Concert, Guest Choir's Concert, and Grand Choir Concert. Please notify us via email and/or our website contact form that you will need a lap pass. The pass will be waiting at the Ordway Center box office and can be picked up right before the performance by showing your adult ticket.
 

  • My plans have changed and I can no longer attend a concert. Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds. However, with the digital ticket format it is easy to transfer your ticket(s) to a different attendee! You will be able to forward the QR code tickets and vouchers to others via email.

 

  • I don’t have internet access, an email address, and/or a credit card. How can I order tickets?

In the event that online ticket ordering is not possible for you, we encourage you to coordinate with family and/or community members who may be able to purchase tickets on your behalf. A limited number of tickets to events will also be available to purchase in person (with cash, check, or credit card) during the Festival. 

 

  • I would like to attend events that have food served, but have serious food allergies. Who should I contact?

  • Will there be any complimentary tickets or discounts for participants?

 

The Organizing Committee is pleased to announce that each participant in the Grand Folk Dance Performance and Grand Choir Concert will receive a complimentary ticket of their choice to one of three events: the Welcome Concert at 7:30 p.m. on June 29, the theater performances on July 1 at 10:00 a.m. or July 2 at 1:00 p.m., or the Festival Ball at 9:00 p.m. on July 3. Participants received a short survey via their group leaders, asking which event they would like to attend. After completing the survey, our ticketing service will send a QR code by email to the participant's email address that will function as an entrance ticket to the chosen event.
